The Buzabout Community Car Service is available to everybody if there is no bus where or when you wish to travel on the Shotley Peninsula.
The Community Car is a door to door service for anyone of any age at the cost of a bus fare. It is free to valid National Travel Bus Pass holders. Young People under 15 and valid Explore Card holders pay Half Fare. Priority, where possible, is given to early morning bookings for those wanting work/school/transport link journeys.
Use it on the Shotley Peninsula to go to the local shops and pubs, to the doctors or to see friends, or to connect with a train at Ipswich or Manningtree Stations, buses to Ipswich at the London Rd., Copdock Park & Ride or to Colchester and Hadleigh at Manningtree and East Bergholt or the ferry at Shotley Marina to Harwich and Felixstowe. The Community Car is wheelchair friendly but please advise the operator when booking.
